SEACOAST BANK – Senior Appraiser – JOB SUMMARYThe Sr. Appraiser is responsible for leading a small team, defining appraisal engagement requirements, coordination and review of appraisal and environmental services to support the bank’s real estate lending activities and in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. The collateral valuation function is an integral component of the underwriting and lending processes for loan secured by both commercial and residential real estate. The position may also manage relationships with third party service providers to carry out the responsibilities of the department.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6-8 years of progressive, related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of appraisal regulatory requirements and standards including, but not limited to, FIRREA, USPAP, Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, and GSE Appraiser Independence Requirements.
  • Experience working in appraisal services at a financial institution preferred.
  • MAI preferred.
  • AI-GRS (Appraisal Institute – General Review Specialist) and State licensing required.

SENIOR APPRAISER

The Property Tax Oversight Program for the State of Florida Department of Revenue has immediate position available for a Senior Appraiser, based in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate would have at least 4 years of commercial appraisal experience and be an active Florida State Certified General Appraiser. In lieu of a senior–level real estate appraisal designation or State Certified General Appraisal license, the applicant may have completed 300 hours of Florida pre-licensing training and 3000 hours of USPAP compliant commercial appraisal experience and be a Registered Trainee. Candidates must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, a strong writing ability, time management and problem-solving skills; must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. The Martin County Value Adjustment Board is seeking applications for appointment of appraiser special magistrates and attorney special magistrates for the 2021 tax cycle.
